Interesting New York is here

Can't promise there will be dancing, but you should come and you will think.

Here’s something you should definitely check out: Interesting New York.  It’s the “UnConference” that is the brainchild of Russell Davies and his colleagues at the Open Intelligence Agency, here in New York that’s David Nottoli.

The date is September 13 (that’s a Saturday) and the location is the Katie Murphy Amphitheater at F.I.T. in Manhattan. The cost is pretty reasonable ($35), and this is decidedly not a for-profit venture. Any cash left over will be given to charity. It’s pretty much an all day event (10:00am – 6:00pm) of presentations from all kinds of cool people talking about things that are, well, interesting. Check out some past speakers from Interesting events in London, Sydney and Amsterdam.

We’re also open for speaker submissions, so if you, or someone you know, has something interesting to talk about, submit a speaker application. We’re not looking for people to promote their SEO company, we’re looking for people to talk passionately about something they are passionate about: finger painting, cow tipping, stamp collecting, whatever, just be passionate.

If you missed some of the PSFK events earlier this year and thought, ‘man, I really want to check out something cool like that,’ this is your opportunity.
