Social Media Week is Coming!
Last year Social Media Week appeared out of thin air (at least to me). I wasn’t sure what to expect from this first time event, but it sure seemed to capture the imagination of the SocMed community here in NYC. It was terrific because it was so open source. Free events were springing up everywhere with a real diversity. It wasn’t the same old topics and same old speakers.
Well it’s back in 2010 and is reaching “can’t miss” status. This time around it’s being held in six cities – Berlin, London, New York, San Francisco, Sao Paulo & Toronto – February 1-5. Check out the website for more details.

A big shout out to Toby Daniels, the founder of Social Media Week for having the vision and determination to bring this thing to life.
Final Note – Because so many of the events are free, they sell out quickly (many already have). So get on it.
